Strong emphasis on UI skills (graphics rendering and CSS files) is expected. Excellent object oriented software systems design skills and architectural skills is a plus. Practical TDD/JUnit experience and the ability to deliver quality unit-tested solutions is highly preferred. Portal framework experience is preferred. Expertise in Eclipse, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, HTML, XHTML, JSP, Servlets and Oracle 10G are all preferred. Expertise with Java open source technologies including Spring 2.0+, Web flow, JSF,  Richfaces, Ant, JUnit, Maven, Cobertura, Hibernate is highly preferred.     Responsibilities: Must be forward thinking to anticipate tasks outside of the normally identified steps. Ability to dig into areas that may be out of comfort zone to demonstrate a willingness to learn new things. Participate in Enhancement/Requirements meetings and provide recommendations and/or risks. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities in a timely and efficient manner. Must be self motivated and willing to accept change. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate status, issues, key events and concerns with Scrum Master and other management team members. Must take ownership of all assigned tasks and project related assignments. Ensure documentation is completed for task updates/changes. Analyzes business requirements and transform them to relevant object design/solutions. Create detailed design, when necessary, of software components. Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet business goals of application and environment. Provide occasional technical support as required. Apply detailed knowledge of human factors, user-centered design, and user interface design to create software solutions that yield a positive user experience.   Knowledge, Skills/Abilities: Must be a self-starter and be able to perform with minimal supervision while working in a diverse team environment following Agile processes for software development.
