We are looking for sharp, speedy developer to build a UI for our Video Streaming based services. The flash application will be developed for Netgear's Neo TV box that is compatible with both Flash Action script 2.0 and Netgear's own SDK. The UI will be compatible with TV resolutions. The UI will display Video asset data from the backend database system (using SOAP/HTTP/XML async data retrieval) The UI will also need do other business logic/edits like Authentication/Video Asset validations etc. The UI will have social networking features like sharing the like, email, etc. The UI will facilitate the Video Play back capabilities based on the Video asset URL retrieved from the backend database system, and layers of meta data on top of the video. REQUIREMENTS • Proven experience building sophisticated, modern, pure ActionScript based enterprise applications (Web/Mobile) for IT/Digital Media/Web2 markets • Strong object-oriented design and development with relationship to UI (User Interface) development * Great Knowledge working with flash RTMP / (group) RTMFP / AMF / Web Services • Client/server, database, systems integration and reporting • 5 years Client-side web technologies (JavaScript, AJAX) • You should be familiar with TV video/screen resolutions, images required for different screens sizes and format etc • Experience with entertainment oriented business systems is a plus.
