Six-month contract for a System Analyst with experience in Healthcare and in writing 837 / 835 system requirements. This System Analyst will have to hit the ground running -- to derive and document business and system requirements for a claims processing system. The System Analyst will: Analyze existing business rules, processes, and systems to recommend process and system enhancement. Elicit analyze, communicate and validate, technical requirements. Collaborate with other IT staff to provide alternative system solutions to meet requirements. Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions. Write Use Cases, IADs and System Requirement Specifications that can be handed off to the appropriate development team for coding. Serve as SME to the systems testing, UAT testing, and business support teams to explain system functionality. Utilize knowledge of system flows, databases and programming logic to develop solutions for system problems. Monitor production files / reports. Review actual log files and 837 files to determine the cause of system problems. Determine systems changes needed for multiple corporate projects, providing specific functional requirements to the development team. Produce detailed logic to be used for development of system queries and reports, down to the specific data element level. Review and confirm business requirements provided by BAs representing the operational areas, and convert into technical requirement logic to pass on to the development team.
