Data Center Operations Resource
Data Center Operations Resource Provide first level support for day-to-day operations of the data center, to include monitoring batch processing, system activity, print and tape processes. Provide support to internal customers on application, billing and provisioning related systems. The tasks involve taking a list of numbers, and locating the numbered tape on a shelf, pulling the tape to be entered into the conversion silo. The only skills necessary are the ability to read numbers and compare the list with the physical tape, and handling the tapes through entering and removing from the silo, putting the tapes in boxes to be stored for later disposition.
