Duration: 6 Months. Location: Issaquah, WA AS400 RPG (New Requirement) The technology is AS/400, with RPGLE/CLLE exposure. This is a development role and the candidate should have exposure to Lawson ERP application as well. Resource Request: -- · Over 8 years of experience · Experience in iSeries (AS400) ILE environment, MQ, RPGLE/SQLRPGLE etc. · Prior experience in encryption software is an added advantage Technical Competency · Tech Lead with experience in leading and developing, testing and supporting applications in Iseries · Good working knowledge of iSeries (AS400) operating system and possess thorough knowledge in OS/400, RPGLE, DB2 and SQL, Messaging queues · Sound understanding of ILE Concepts, SQLRPGLE and SQL Stored Procedures, troubleshooting of issues and jobs · Good understanding of software development lifecycle processes · Experience using Turnover change management product or equivalent configuration management tools · Hands on experience in Tools like Iseries Navigator, Hawkeye etc. Analysis and solution design · Thorough understanding of development methodologies. · Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. · Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements. · Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices to improve client business. · Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets. Communication · Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings. · Provide guidance to other designers and coders. · Strong communication in general. Client Management · Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management. · Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. · Manage client expectations effectively.
