Business Systems Analyst

This key Technical BA role will see you working across our core business functional groups capturing their business requirements and documenting them correctly prior to solutions be developed and implemented. Key Accountabilities: Planning business analysis approach, deliverables, activities and performing business requirements gathering on assigned projects Translating the business stakeholder requirements into business requirements and supporting this translation into function specifications Clearly communicating and articulating the objectives, scope, benefits and requirements of any assigned project to the relevant business stakeholders and/or project managers, system owners, stewards and any other relevant or related parties Identifying any risks, constraints and dependencies and effectively communicating these to business stakeholders and other related parties Working closely with the architecture teams, project management teams, application development teams and other related subject matter experts (SME's) and specialists for ensuring accurate business requirements capturing Working closely with the technical and implementation teams to ensure an understanding of the processes/issues associated with systems development are clearly identified Developing the user manuals to support newly implemented business solutions and systems Leading the provision of training for both business and end-users of newly implemented business solutions and systems Leading and facilitating workshops and consult with stakeholders and other related parties to manage change Assisting in the evaluation of business solution needs and contributing to the development of solutions options documenting the analysis Skills & Experience: Minimum 4 years working experience in either a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst or Requirements Analyst role Solid experience in stakeholder management, facilitation, requirements planning and gathering, applying business analysis skills into developing clear business requirements and project documentation Highly experienced in documenting business and technical requirements including workflow, application/data/integration flows, interface and screen layouts, and experienced with developing high level Data Models and Use Cases/Case Diagrams Excellent analytical and active listening skills, attention to detail, must have excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills and possess a strong business acumen Experienced in system testing processes, including experience with Agile or traditional Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC)/System Development Methodology (SDM) Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Experience with providing system and user training to both business and end-users An understanding of the Business Analyst Solutions Framework and project management methodologies An ability to perform solution assessments and to understand complex infrastructure and systems SQL, .Net, Integration/Web Services knowledge is highly desirable Business analysis industry accreditation to either Business Analyst Competency Assessment (BACA) scheme to level 3 or 4 is a bonus If you tick these boxes, and BELIEVE you can really own this role and deliver we can keep you fulfilled!
