Our client in Century City, CA is currently seeking a Report Developer on a contract basis. The Report Developer will refine financial report specifications that are created by the Report Analyst and implement these designs in a combination of reporting technologies including SQL Reporting Services, Excel, Power Pivot and Dynamics Management Reporter. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, excellent understanding of financial data and ability to validate their own work. Responsibilities: Interviews users to understand their report requirements Creates specifications for reports based on user requirements or Analyst draft specifications Analyses best technology to implement each report Creates data sources for reports including SQL Stored Procedures, SSAS cubes and Dynamics AX data classes Implements reports in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Excel, Power Pivot, Dynamics Managmenet Reporter Assure the quality of the data in report outputs Required: Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server Strong understanding of relational database concepts and constructs Experience with data warehousing technologies Experience creating reports for financial systems Thorough understanding of source control, unit testing and continuous integration practices through Visual Studio and TFS Desired: Proficient in creating X++ data classes Knowledge of Powershell, OpenXML, and VBA a plus Dynamics AX experience a plus Knowledge of ASP.net and AJAX a plus For more information and immediate consideration, please submit your resume as a Word document to cyoon@odesus.com today!
