Qualifications: The Electric Distribution Asset Strategy and Development section in clients System Planning and Reliability Department is responsible for developing clients electric distribution system asset strategy and investment plans. The group’s role is to manage and improve the performance of the electric distribution assets from a short and long-term reliability and holistic asset-centric perspective. They will partner with internal PG&E departments and cross-functional teams to establish the safest, most reliable, and cost-effective electric distribution infrastructure system. Responsibilities:Lead the development of maintenance and capital replacement strategies for distribution line facilities (such as poles, conductors, switches, reclosers, fuses and capacitors) throughout the clients system. • Develop both short and long term asset plans. • Accountable for budget development, tracking, work plan commitments, projections, and overall financials of program. • Work closely with department manager and peer component engineers to cross prioritize work across the multiple component programs. • Provide oversight, direction, coordination, and collaborate with Distribution Operations on program work execution. • Assist in communicating with regulators, customers and other external stakeholders to advance clients objectives.
