Our client in the West Des Moines area is looking for a strong automation QA Analyst. This is a long-term contract opportunity with an exciting, stable, and growing company! The qualified candidate must have strong QTP experience; they will do both automation and manual testing. This candidate will test web applications on a variety of platforms. This client is focusing on moving to Agile development as they go forward. The successful candidate will have some Agile experience and should be a person with the personality, communication skills, and collaboration to do well in an Agile Environment. This person should be able to plan and write test scripts as well as execute the testing. Good defect tracking and documentation is also desired. Defect tracking tool used is JIRA. QA Analyst Qualifications: * 4+ years of QA experience - both automated and manual testing needed * 2+ years of recent experience with QTP * 1+ years of experience with other testing tools: Selenium, and should be open to learning new tools * The successful candidate should have 6mo+ of experience within an Agile environment * Experience testing web applications * Should have the ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently
