My client in North County, San Diego has a great opportunity for a Market Research Analyst. The qualified candidate will perform various marketing duties in support of product marketing, marketing research, internet-related marketing and advertising. Gather data on competitors and perform market analysis of competitor's products and latest technologies. Clearly communicate results of research to management with verbal and written reports of findings. Suggest methods to strengthen customer retention and acquire new customers. Perform analysis of existing and potential markets for products and services. Responsible for editing, writing, and producing marketing plans and materials. 1. Identifies market segments, timing of opportunities, and estimates customer requirements. 2. Market analysis: Analyzes data and communicates findings in written reports. 3. Researches and develops strategies and plans to identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new product development in order to meet the performance targets as outlined in the marketing and business plans of the company. 4. Coordinates and produces the company's marketing plans and materials. 5. Coordinates and produces the company's conference/trade show exhibits. Implements marketing research programs to increase sales and profitability. 6. Maintains a clear understanding of the business objectives, markets served and technologies critical to the company. 7. Keeps up to date on the industry's product trends, technologies, and developments to help the company maintain its competitiveness in the marketplace. 8. Participates and provides input in the development of proposals. 9.
