Senior Business Analyst
We are looking for a hands-on on Senior Architect/Business Analyst to work in their Reference Data Repository (RDR) team within the Credit Risk Technology. RDR sources securities master /reference data from various inside and outside market data sources. The securities data covers all asset classes - Corporate Bonds, Equities, MBS/ABS, Municipals, Indexes, and Mutual Funds. RDR also sources Issuer data and Ratings data. Data is ultimately consumed by various application components in Credit Risk Technology. The candidate will be a member of a global team interacting with business analysts and end users from various teams. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing all asset classes and available attributes from various sources and then map these attributes. Candidate will work with DBAs to on-board various asset classes in RDR. He/She will coordinate testing in various environments and will be responsible for getting sign off from users. He/She will also work with business and operations users to write Business requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (16 Years) Strong Reference Data knowledge covering various types of securities and indicative data, issuer data and agency ratings data. Excellent verbal and written communications skills Strong customer/client relationship skills Experience in Project Management and Project Planning is plus Very strong SQL skills to query Very Large Database Systems (Oracle) Ability to: Digest new information and learn new business/processes Multi-task and prioritize tasks according to criticality Work independently Think strategically and provide insight into how to improve existing business and technology processes Analyze requirements and determine testing mechanisms This is a right to hire position.
