Have you ever written up white papers and made recommendations on how to move off of OCS to something new like Exchange or UNIX? They need a consultant who can help them upgrade to the current version of Oracle Collaboration Suite, which is now called Oracle Beehive. What is the business purpose of this position (business reason)? My client currently uses an old Oracle app to send out all of their surveys through. The app is so old, Oracle doesn't support it anymore. My client wants to go to a simpler solution like Exchange, or Unix Mail etc., but they need someone who can come in and evaluate their current system and then make appropriate recommendations on a new system. Software/Computer Skills needed: (ranked in order of importance): Must be an expert in UNIX (Solaris, Linux), Oracle Applications, Oracle Mail Server Day to Day Duties: They need this person to write up white papers and make a recommendation on how to move off this platform to something new like Exchange or UNIX.
