Legal Advice About the Using Copyrighted Information - Copyright
I run the community at KoreaBusinessCentral.com and am trying to get advice on what information I can use freely and what information I need to get permission on when preparing my community newsletter, free community content, paid community content, etc. Here are brief examples to discuss. 1. How can I use Internet-posted photos in my newsletter without getting explicit permission every time? 2. How can I use quotes and ideas from posts by community members in my autoresponders and other curated community content? Such as "So-and-so said this about that"... or "I like what so-and-so said because... " The community user agreement apparently gives each member legal ownership of their own public postings. 3. How can I use and or link to photos and other content generated by others in my paid business certification program? 4. How much can I use content from magazine articles I was paid to write and which I was given permission to post on my site even though the writing is considered work for hire? 5. I offer free information in a "Library" download on the site which includes interviews conducted under the community brand. I would like to know how to include these appropriately. These are brief ideas of what I'm wanting to know, but I figure a one-hour phone call consultation is the best way to discuss each one in more detail. Please quote for a one-hour phone consultation regarding these and related questions. ------------------------------------------ Added 21 JUN 2012, 1:33 AM EDT IMPORTANT - Under "Job Location", I selected "Anywhere" by mistake. Please note, however, that I am only seriously considering legal consultants licensed in the United States. Desired Skills: Copyright Keywords: Patent, Copyright and Trademarks, Copyright
