We are a Chicago-based start-up, currently in the process of developing a web-based portfolio management tool. We are looking for an individual with strong knowledge and proven track record in AWS projects (cloud services + dynamoDB). In addition, it will be extremely beneficial if he or she has: - Strong knowledge in PHP - API programming - Working experience with DynamoDB - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Strong communication skills - Strict adherence to committed timelines - A complete Elance profile with references Job Description: This is an ongoing project currently in the development phase. The deliverable expected are: 1.Validation of the current solution 2. Preparation of a detailed technical design and architecture document 3. Database design and database sizing based on the project scope 4. Migration strategies (local servers -> AWS) 5. recommendations for technical support structure/requirements 6. Recommendations for making the application easier to use. We would be able to provide specific functional documents and our availability for detailed discussion . This can be done in 1 or 2 working days ( based on initial discussions, this project duration can be negotiated). We would like this to be a 1-time project to begin with. Based on these deliverables, requirements and availability, we may like to use the services of the consultant in the latter phases of the project (development/migration/tech support).
