About the Role: Based in Norwich , you will be required to work within the Motor department and efficiently handle a dedicated caseload of claims including all aspects of Third Party claims, liability disputes and accidental damage within specified customer service standards and authority levels.More specific duties will include: To proactively seek to establish liability and indemnity on all claims being handled at any given time Understand the nature of personal injury claims, CPR and CRU A thorough understanding ability to settle credit hire claims in a cost effective manner Take telephone calls and action letters Effectively prioritise and handle a caseload along with new incoming post Manage all claims competently to ensure that they are adequately reserved and settled as economically as possible Develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of legal and regulatory matters A working knowledge of the legal systems in England, Scotland and Wales Key Skills/Experience Required: In order to be considered for the position of Personal Injury Claims Adjuster you must possess the following: Experience of handling motor claims involving credit hire and liability disputes Experience of handling Personal Injury Claims Effective written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated by experience of liaising with both internal and external stakeholders Ability to organise own workload whilst under pressure and working to deadlines Ability to work on own initiative Salary/Benefits Information: Salary £22k - £27k p.a (DOE) 25 days holiday (pro rata) Excellent Pension Healthcare Life Assurance And much more… Contact: Sophie Simmonds 01275 813019 sophie@cavendishmaine.com Footnote If your application is successful we will contact you to discuss the opportunity in more detail, within 48 hours of receiving your application.
