Our Seattle, Washington healthcare client is looking for a Supervisor for their DBA team. There are currently 3 DBAs, so this is a small team and this Supervisor will not only need to lead the team, but be willing and interested in getting in with the team to do some of the hands-on work. The role will include a combination of project management and team leadership. Currently, the DBA Supervisor does weekly one-on-ones with each team member. This role requires onsite work with an expectation of 40 hour work week. The ideal individual has been in a DBA role previously and has recently begun taking on the role of a Lead/Supervisor as their next career step. Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise): 5+ years in a technical role (as a DBA, Developer or other IT type role) Some supervisor or lead experience Keen interest or strength in getting into leadership Willingness to work onsite in downtown Seattle, Mon-Fri Experience in healthcare is a plus, not required
