Quantitative Programmer
Our client a highly regarded investment management firm located it KOP area is looking for a Quantitative Programmer to work with all aspects of the quantitative infrastructure and research team. This is a long term contract opportunity that could lead to a permanent opportunity. Main Duties: Work to maintain existing Quantitative Models Respond to investment team by creating and enhancing existing reports etc Assist in developing and maintaining global asset allocation tool - Macro Economics Analysis Assistance portfolio management when necessary Assist in enhancing the Global Equity Quantitative System with regard to the stock picking model Identify global sources of company financial data, and analyze the predictive value of financial factors by region or economic sector Conduct special projects as required Requirements: Bachelor Degree required in a scientific field or in mathematics with concentration in Computer Programming Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visual Basic programming Exceptional programming skills in Microsoft SQL are required Experience working in the investment management industry (excellent internships will be considered.) Experience with Factset data systems is a plus Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritizes tasks efficiently, and work long hours if necessary Superior quantitative, analytical and computer skills and experience analyzing complex datasets Willingness to share knowledge in a team environment
