Support Specialist - Senior Technician
Kforce is seeking a Senior Technician for a New York, New York client. This Specialist will be assisting with responsive support to our client's end user community. Specific Functions: Use DAMEWARE as a remote control tool to troubleshoot and diagnose desktop problems Run daily batch related scripts Travel to other field facilities located in the 5 Boroughs to diagnose and troubleshoot computer related issues and assist in their resolution Manage other technical staff with operational tasks and projects Design, train, and implement application roll-out processes (Development, QA, Stage, and Production) Develop technical back-up, modification, and deployment documentation Work with frequency acquisition and Network Integration Essential Support Specialist Qualifications: 10+ years of professional experience 3+ years of experience in the installation, management, support, and administration of Windows and Linux Servers Expertise in Microsoft desktop products 2003-2010 Expertise in Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP Operating Systems LDAP set-up and support experience SAN experience (NETAPPS, EMC, etc.) Must be able to work well independently or in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in writing technical documentation
