Inside Sales Customer Service Rep
Our Client, a private company in Irving, is seeking an Inside Sales Customer Service Rep. Job Purpose: Assist the Inside Sales Team in everyday customer service to include fielding incoming calls, processing, and tracking purchase orders as well as data entry, support of outside sales staff, manufacturer support, and general office tasks. Current Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers / visitors / inquirers and relevant staff Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the telephone or in person and to verbal or written instructions Work with other Inside Sales to receive Purchase Orders; review them for accuracy and forward to manufacturers as necessary Acknowledge order to customers including, but not limited to estimated ship date, shipment tracking, submittal and approved drawings and update Project and Purchase Order Reports accordingly Perform reception duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner Answer all incoming calls and forward to the correct team member as required Expediting correction or adjustment; and following-up to ensure resolution Order and maintain relevant office supplies including literature requests for outside sales as well as equipment for test kitchen to include keeping office areas tidy Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications and spreadsheets including, but not limited to the demo/test equipment log and specific customer / manufacturer reports Arrange and participate in company meetings, conferences, and project team activities Cross train with other Inside Sales people; must be capable of performing all Inside Sales responsibilities Continuously cross train as new inside sales staff and inside sales functions The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 3+ years of Inside Sales experience 3+ years of Customer Service experience Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Must be able to resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and determining the cause of the problem; and selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
