Advanced knowledge and deep understanding of common business process modelling standards. Understand of procurement lifecycle and tender process. Skills Possess comprehensive practical experience of business analysis techniques, including analysis and design, database technologies, data analysis and requirements modelling. Possess advanced skills in identifying, modelling and redesigning business processes and drive process improvements and integration of business initiatives through various means. Experience in documenting process flows. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess ability to develop interpersonal relationships with a range of external and internal customers. Demonstrated strong problem solving and solution implementation skills. Proven skills in documenting business requirements, business processes and work flows. Ability to apply quality methodologies and related principles in the workplace. Excellent organisational negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to work as part of a team, provide mentoring and leadership. Demonstrated interpersonal and time management skills. Experience Sound experience as a Business Analyst and an ability to translate user requirements into systems documents. Proven ability to work as part of a team or independently, delivering a client service function. Demonstrated experience in understanding all functional and non-functional aspects of an IT system. Demonstrable experience in analysing business processes. Proven experience of providing analysis across the full SDLC, from an end-to-end projects perspective. Experience in the documentation of business proposal and tender documentation. Mandatory qualifications required for the position Applicants must possess at least 6 years experience as a Business Analyst. Relevant tertiary qualifications from a recognised University. Practical knowledge of business analysis principles and IT practices such as BABOK. Practical knowledge of project management principles and IT concepts/practices such as ITIL and PMBOK. Work related experience in developing business case and requirements documents, and carrying out application research and development. Desirable knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications required for the position Post-graduate qualifications from a recognised University in business / information systems management or related field. Certification from Vendors or other recognised training providers. Understanding of continuous improvement and client service principles. Experience in working within a highly regulated organisation and industry. Demonstrate knowledge of business and IT architectural concepts. Experience in identifying a solution holistically by considering all other initiatives and existing solutions. Working knowledge of Agile methodology. Experience in using SQL to analysis or profile system data. Experience in project managing small projects end-to-end. BABOK certification. UML, use case and Enterprise Architect experience.
