Create Estimate Checklist - Admin Assistant Microsoft Excel Office Admin Research
I'm looking for someone to create a checklist for providing estimates. this is an INTERNAL DOCUMENT to be used by our firm's staff. We need to give them a template so they know how to research and what questions they need to ask, figure out before providing management with a write up. We provide consulting on various aspects of setting up businesses and business related service to various clients in various industries. We have no project the same so need to ensure the estimate is generic enough. The purpose is also to build an internal research database. i.e the information gathered from our staff will then be entered in our research database so we know next time, how long and how much and the steps needed to complete a particular project. Example: A client has contacted us requesting that we assist them with an application for a goverment back business loan. Before we quote for a project like this, we need to understand certain facts. i.e what program? General overview? Are there any limits to cash to be received? any minimum? How long is the application process? How many different parties involved? Any specialist required? (lawyers, bankers, accountants, etc...). What is the skill level? (i.e, can our part time staff do this or need senior staff? How long does it take? What are the approval steps? how many hours of OUR time will this take ? at junior level, at senior level? Prep work, are there any application fees? As you can see , many questions need to be answered prior to us taking on this job. in adddition, how much should we quote for this project. do we have enough info to be able to write our own write up on this project, etc... Basically, we want a GENERIC TEMPLATE that asks the RIGHT QUESTIONS for our staff to research. We are contstantly called upon to quote for projected and taking time trying to explain what we need our staff to reasearch. We would like to provide them with a template they can use or script to ask correct questions. The Elancer should research and prepare questions with answer boxes. The goal is to make this as STRESS FEE for our researchers. they will need to think of many different cases to ensure their TEMPLATE can be used across multiple projects. For example, will it work for a bank loan? or a company setup? How about a Visa Application for immigration? Or application for a liquor license? etc... We are looking for a 1-2 page template in word or excel. it should be as visual as possible. ex, when dealing with timelines. and risk (i.e 1-5 on difficulty scale) etc..
