A Nursery in Market Harborough, Leicestershire are recruiting for a Deputy Club Leader to support an After School Club covering a maternity leave. The role is to start in September 2012 for a period of 9-12 months. This position offers hours between 15-22.5 hours per week. There are three options in regards to the hours, you are given the option of working 7:30-9:00 or 15:00-18:00, alternatively you can work both shifts. You must be qualified to a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in a recognised childcare or playworker qualification and ideally have previous leadership/management experience. The role includes assisting the Club Leader in managing and organising the After School Club activities and supervising children and staff. You will also be required to liaise with parents and school staff, oversee the preparation of meals and snacks and ensure that all levels of care are of a good quality. You will also be involved in drop off and collection of children using the settings mini bus, so a full clean driving licence is essential.
