Senior Java Developer required for busy Agile consultancy based in Bath. Working as part of a dedicated development team this role will encompass high-quality software product development and design with coding and testing. There will also be an element of prototyping and proof of concept activities. The ideal developer must be strong at producing web components with an ability to work in new technologies. This will be a challenging role in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role you must have 5+ years' experience with Java and Java interface development, SQL, J2EE and Other Web skills. You must also have experience with object orientated analysis and design, J2EE, Other Web skills (e.g. JSP and Servlets) and be skilled in the Eclipse IDE Preferred additional experience with a test driven development environment and hands on experience with RESTful Services, JQuery and JUnit, Oracle PLSQL, XML, Struts and Tag libraries. Potentially this contract could start immediately and run for three months with high possibility for extension. Thank you for your interest.
