Our client is an independent specialist Insurance and Reinsurance broker which operates internationally and at Lloyds. The business they handle is a mix of reinsurance, complex large commercial business and programmes & facilities (namely special programmes and binding authorities) We are seeking a Senior Database Developer with at least 5 years experience in MS SQL Server 2008 or later with additional experience in the areas of Integration, reporting and Analysis Services. You will work closely with the Project Managers and Business representatives to develop, deliver, maintain and support a new datawarehouse and reporting suite in SQL Server 2008 R2. Ideally you will have an Insurance background although this is not essential and have commercial experience in .NET Web Services, Sharepoint 2007, Visual Studio 2010 and Oracle. A contract role for an initial 6 month period based within the City of London will suit a highly motivated individual who is able to work on there own, from specification, through the full development life cycle.
