xScion Solutions is an Information Technology professional services firm supporting leading commercial clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We are currently supporting a large health care insurance company with some of their key hiring needs and are looking for 2 Application Support Analysts. Our client is in need of two Tier 2 Application Support Analysts under the supervision of the Director, Systems Development to assist with a series of initiatives in 2012. Successful candidates must have a track record of application support escalation activities from Tier 1 call center for complex systems. Job responsibilities will include: 1. Respond to client service requests that range from ad-hoc system reporting to system enhancement requests that require opening a ticket for system development. 2. Reviewing daily system reports and addressing medical claim data that the system is unable to be process due to a technical/data error. 3. Execute application jobs that will automatically reflow claims based on certain scenarios. 4. Working closing with the development team to continuously improve the automated claim reflow processes. 5. Document all interaction with clients working in a ticketing system. 6. Additional documentation duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: 1. Associate or Bachelor degree 2. Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle 3. 2+ years’ experience in a technical support setting 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 5. Excellent communication skills 6. Must be attentive to detail, highly-organized, and able to multi-task. 7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Skills: 1. Healthcare Industry experience 2.
