This project is to redesign an existing website. The purpose is to create a user friendly, easy to navigate and SEO friendly website which will give customer better online shopping experience. Customer should be able to find the item with search. Category and sub category of items display will make it easier to find the right item easily. Required pages and information: 1. Home Page with Banner image, New products section, Feature product section. Design available. 2.About us, Contact us, testimonial, News and Events, Policies, Gallery. Design available. 3. Each Product should have product detail page with its general description, price etc. Each product should be allowed to upload up to 6 pictures and 1 video. 4. Registration page. Customer should be able to save shipping and billing information in to an account using user id and password. There should be password retrieval process. 5. Shopping cart should auto calculate coupon (if entered),state sales tax and shipping cost. Any information changing in the shopping cart always should re-calculate order total immediately. Customer can login to retrieve their shipping and billing information or they can always decide to shop as guest. Items should be allowed to shop by size, color and quantity. 6. Integration of Paypal and google checkout with shopping cart. 7. Insert google analytic code to common content or required pages. 8. Customer should be allowed to review a product and it should display with nbr of stars. Detail will be provided. 9. Admin should be allowed to maintain easily the entire site using admin panel. a. Admin retrieval password option. Admin should be allowed to change user name, password and email id of admin. b. Maintain details of registered user. c. Maintain page contents like About us, Policies, Testimonial, product reviews. d. Maintain a banner on home page with large pictures and text to announce product update or news. e. Maintain Meta Tags for search engines. f. Maintain product category and sub category. Product will be mass uploaded from the admin panel from csv or XML file or few of them will be allowed to add manually from the admin panel. Separate image file will be uploaded (image file will contain product ID with gif, jpeg, png or bmp files) After uploading products and image files. Images should show up on product detail page. Upload will have one image per product but we should be allowed to add up to 6 pictures and 1 video manually per product. g. Once products are uploaded it should create category and sub category automatically if the category and sub category does not exists in the system. Uploaded file should over lay the existing product if found on the file. Detail will be provided if you have question. h. Admin should be able to maintain display and edit of product review and testimonials. i. All the order detail will be captured and should be able to maintain it from admin panel. Excluding credit card information. j. Shipping cost will be maintained from the admin panel. Shipping cost is based on order value excluding tax. We also should be able to manage exceptional shipping cost for a specific item. Detail will be provided. k. Maintain News and events page. l. Maintain coupon system. Coupons can be flat rate or percentage. It can be set to apply to an order, specific product, or category or sub-category. Coupon must have a start and end date. Coupons will be allowed to apply during checkout process. m. Maintain sales taxes for 50 US states with percentage and additional 1 as 'Other' for other country. 10. We covered most of the major pages in the requirement. There may be few minor changes that needs to be done. Any major changes that we did not communicate or due to our mistake. You will be compensated accordingly. 11. Any page that sends email/information must have captcha code. Like contact us, member registration. 12. Project will be divided based on your feed back in 5 phases. And 20% escrow will be deposited. After successful completion and complete testing from our side payment will be made. Final 2 phases' payment will be made after 14 days when all the code is in production and all bugs are fixed. 13. We will require at least 90 days of support to any bug fix of your work. All bids MUST be submitted with verifiable portfolio. Our Expectation: 1. Any change that you do MUST be tested thoroughly before you ask us to test. 2. Basic knowledge of E-commerce, shopping cart and web design required. 3. Basic knowledge of error handling through out the site with appropriate message. 4. Good programming practices must be followed. 5. ALWAYS ask question if you are in confusion. Our response time is pretty fast. DO NOT ASSUME and DO NOT continue with your idea if you have any doubt. 6. We will not tolerate any violation of terms and conditions that you agreed upon to do the project. There will be 3 written warning and cancellation of the project without any payment after that. 7. Please do not ask for payments to be released before you complete each phase and it is tested and approved by us. 8. Please share ideas if you think there is a better way to accomplish a task. 9.
