E & I Engineer - Oil & Gas - Netherlands A European leader in the distribution of natural gas are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join their Engineering & Construction department. The main focus is on modifications to existing offshore installations. The E & I Engineer will be responsible for preparing project execution plans including scope of work and budget estimates. They will be reviewing proposed plant change in compliance with the latest electro technical codes and standards, and preparing (E&I) equipment specifications and drawings. Other responsibilities include evaluating technical quotations, providing technical guidance and support to the engineering contractor, reviewing detailed technical specifications and drawings prepared by the engineering contractor, witnessing factory acceptance tests (FAT), providing technical support to the offshore commissioning team and reviewing as-built documentation. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering and have relevant experience in the exploration & production industry. The E & I Engineer must be prepared to go offshore for site trips, and have knowledge of applicable national/international codes and standards related to the oil & gas industry.
