Due to expansion my client is currently looking to recruit a QA Engineer for their Newport based depot.  The successful candidate will have a background in the steel industry with knowledge of welding processes and quality assurance. The role will be based on a temporary on going contract working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.  However a flexible attitude is essential as some overtime maybe required. Duties will include: Checking cast sheets/test certs. Organising weld tests. Controlling training records and keeping an up to date training data base. Measuring material coming into bays and finished product going out.
