Social Media Fashion Internship
The Phoenix Social Media Fashion Internship is a great opportunity for any graduate keen to break into fashion, advertising, marketing, PR or journalism. Phoenix Cobham is a fashion boutique which specializes in the resale of designer clothes and accessories. Phoenix has been trading in Cobham, Surrey for 35 years. Over the past year Phoenix has undergone a massive rebrand, from shop in/exterior and company car to new website and social media channels, all of which have been designed to increase footfall to the shop and revenue. The Job: The Social Media Fashion Intern will be responsible for updating Phoenix's Social Media Channels whilst adhering to our strict brand guidelines. You will become Phoenix’s online brand guardian and will reflect Phoenix’s impeccable reputation online. The successful candidate will gain unparalleled insight into designer retail, online marketing, brand reputation management, multi-channel communications and customer service. Pay: Expenses Daily Tasks: 1. Photograph stock and upload images to Phoenix’s extensive social media footprint. To reflect the quality of the stock and the professionalism of the shop, photographs must be well lit and items photographed at interesting angles. Photography updates to be accompanied with accurate text descriptions of items. Training to be provided. 2. Build Phoenix’s weekly email alert. Training to be provided. 3. Approach national, regional and local press inviting them to visit and review Phoenix. Excellent email writing skills and persistence mandatory. 4. Respond to online customer queries. 5. Schedule Twitter updates using social media management tool Hootsuite + monitor number of clicks links shared generate. Training to be provided. 6. Monitor and report on Google Analytics of Phoenix Cobham website. Training to be provided. 7. Help with taking in, pricing and marking down stock. 8. Sales and customer service. Personal Specification: Passion for Fashion (knowledge of all designer labels and fashion industry). Passion for Social Media. Apple Mac Literate. Experience of managing Facebook communities preferable but not essential. Ideally running your own blog. Proficient Photographer. Exceptional command of the Queen’s English. Hard Working, Creative, Team Player. Excellent telephone manner. Highly organised. Ability to work independently with the chance to use own initiative. Keywords: PR, Marketing, Advertising
