Our contract agency is seeking NYS Licensed Physical Therapists interested in working with our pediatric and/or home-based rehabilitative departments. Full-time and part-time positions are available throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties as well as the five boroughs of NYC.    ·        Pediatric: Provide services and perform evaluations for all of our pediatric departments. Early Intervention (birth to 2.11 years): Services and evaluations generally provided in the home. Applicants must have appropriate DOH approval for early intervention.   Pre-School (3yrs-5yrs): Services and evaluations are provided primarily in the home, but may also be provided in daycare and preschool settings. Candidates must comply with NYS Fingerprinting requirements as per Project SAVE.   School Age (Grades K-12): Services and evaluations are provided primarily in school settings to develop independence and improve educational functioning. Candidates must comply with NYS Fingerprinting requirements as per Project SAVE.   ·        Rehabilitative Home Care: Develop and administer a treatment program for home care patients.     Job Requirements Must be New York State Licensed in Physical Therapy Degrees obtained outside United States must be from CAPTE approved institutions   Skills/Qualifications Strong clinical skills, willing to work as team player, effective communication skills (verbal and written), general computer/word processing skills a must!     About Metro Therapy, Inc We are an agency that has been providing a wide range of high quality services to individuals of all ages for over 20 years.
