I am currently recruiting for a school in East London that requires a Senior ICT Technician on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the position is to assist the ICT Network Manager in providing technical support throughout the school. Responsibilities of the role include supporting the management of the school curriculum & administration networks and supporting the maintenance and running of the schools SIMS Information Management System. Other responsibilities include maintaining daily backup systems, managing anti virus and firewall software and diagnosing and resolving problems with all hardware and software. The school is looking for somebody with at least two year's experience in an ICT support role ideally within a school environment.
