Our client, located in Pleasanton, California, is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager / Architect. This person will be leading multiple tracks of application and infrastructure upgrade projects, new system build-out activities, and coordinated application migrations from old to new hardware. This individual will need to use their technical background to lead the technical team in the creation and execution of not only the project plan, but to also ensure the accuracy and quality of the IT solutions being built. The PM must understand the architecture and the engineering details to ensure the deliverables meet the business requirements. Top 3 - 5 Daily Responsibilities: Lead multiple application & infrastructure upgrade and build-out projects Engage Stakeholds and regional managers Change Management The client is looking for a strong Project Manager who has had at least 5 years of experience leading infrastructure build-outs, system upgrades and application migration efforts. Experience (hands on, design, or project management capacity) of UNIX/Windows system administration & engineering, Back office products including Web Servers, DNS/GTM/LTM, Load Balancers, Compression Appliances, Network switches, Routers, Firewalls, SAN Switches, Storage Arrays, and Tape Libraries.
