Marketing - Marketing Consultant - Intermediate
The Sr. Online Marketing Analyst will provide strategic business insight to all Lines of Business (LOB), based on data leveraged from various online analytics tools and other sources to optimize online content and customer experiences. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop Culture of Customer Focused Analytics/Insight Be the evangelist and expert for digital measurement. Communicate and share insight and best practices with a broad range of audiences, including executives. Meet with internal clients regularly to communicate online analytics results and drive improvements based on these results. Share online analytics successes and opportunities with the stakeholders to create an atmosphere of transparency and data-driven optimization. Analyze and communicate data to advocate for the customer and to help CLIENT be the bank that defines great customer experience. 2) Online Analytics service provision to Client at an enterprise and LOB level Be a digital performance measurement thought leader championing the optimization of the digital space. 3) Standards, governance and best practices Stays abreast of measurement technology and trends to ensure CLIENT adheres to industry best practices in all relevant areas. Works with LOBs and eChannel team to develop and communicate best-practices for metrics reporting and interpretation. Explores information/metrics requirements and evolves reporting based on LOB feedback. Shares metrics learning and best practices with stakeholders. What were looking for: Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent training. 5+ years working experience in web strategy and data analysis Knowledge of Adobe Insight a must Skills and Competencies: Extensive knowledge of online tracking and measurement best practices Curious with a strong analytical and strategic mindset Proficiency in MS Office with expert understanding of MS Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) Expert knowledge of digital measurement tools across multiple channels (web analytics, Voice of the Customer, Social Media, Mobile, email, online testing) SQL skills and understanding of relational data structures is a plus Excellent knowledge of internet and intranet principles, practices and technologies (Html,Javascript) an asset Strong understanding of search optimization strategies Financial Services industry experience an asset, but not required Graduate degree preferably in market research, math, statistics, economics, marketing, psychology, or other related fields Ability to interpret data and extract and communicate actionable insights Excellent communication (written and oral) skills Strong organization and time management skills Team player who can work independently Ability to mentor and guide junior analysts and to manage them as resources on large initiatives
