Work closely with Interface Development team, IS Support groups, hospital personnel and ancillary application vendors to analyze, design, document, test, troubleshoot and coordinate implementation of HL7 interfaces. Manage multiple tasks concurrently, monitor status of projects that contain multiple resources and communicate status effectively. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS: Analyze, design, document, test, troubleshoot, coordinate implementation and provide technical support for HL7 interfaces between Health Information Systems (HIS) and ancillary application systems. Work with Application Analysts and Interface Engineers to translate interface requirements into technical HL7 specifications. Perform training for interface applications, HL7 messages and network topology. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Build strong relations with business partners and team members. Communicate with all levels of the organization, both written and orally, in a clear and concise manner. Delivers informative, well-organized project updates. Communicate, prioritize, track project progress, and resolve issues in a timely fashion. Manage multiple projects concurrently and escalate issues when appropriate. Evaluate requests for service, identify value and make recommendations as to the ones that yield greatest return. Able to quickly learn business process es and identify opportunities.
