Job Description Mobile Handset Tester (Conformance & Network Simulators) Redmond, WA Mobile Handset Tester (Conformance & Network Simulators) Redmond, WA Duration: 12+ month*s contract Job Description: * The individual test engineer will be responsible for working on the conformance and Mobile operator approval tests for testing Smartphone*s. * Tests have to be executed on various network simulators or conformance test systems. * It is required to create test cases for reproducing any field issues or complex network scenarios. * Test may also need to be created and executed to meet the mobile operator technical acceptance requirements. Required Skills: * Cellular technologies GSM, WCDMA, CDMA on network and mobile side * Knowledge of 3GPP specification focusing Layer2 and Layer 3 * Experience in development or testing of call processing ( L2/L3) procedures on GSM or WCDMA * Experience in running the 3GPP conformance test case GCF/PTCRB on Anite SAT / CRTU /Anritsu 8480 * Experience in creating the test scripts on Anite SAT/SAS, Anritsu RTD and Anritsu 8470 C script environment * Good understanding of US and International Mobile Operators test spec , test cases and execution on live and simulated networks * Debugging connectivity and call drop issues, analyzing data throughput issues and other product performance issues * Experience in using network simulator such as Agilent 8960, Anritsu 8470, CMU 200, Anite SAT/SAS, Spirent C2K * Experience in creating cellular test automation for Smart phones on network simulators * Knowledge of Mobile architecture and Radio interface layers or any other Smartphone OS is preferred. * 5+ years of relevant experience with a MS/ BS equivalent degree in EE/Computer Science, or equivalent experience For Further information regarding the job or to apply please contact Aakash Shah at 425-214-5206 or email aakash.shah@collabera.com http://www.collabera.com
