Problem solving skills, Good communication International shipping background is a plus Computer exp required: JDE(dwards) (required or with similar systems) and internal system Coordinate the Distribution function to ensure on-time, accurate and cost-effective order fulfillment. Establish clear, measurable performance standards for Distribution and direct reports. The development and implementation of Distribution efficiency and process improvement programs. Create written procedures for the Distribution area and ensure all Distribution personnel have required training assigned and completed. Ensure Distribution’s adherence to applicable internal and external standards including FDA, ISO, OSHA, DOT, and IATA. Job Responsibilities: (List the task and functions that the employee will be responsible for) • Ensure daily Distribution readiness. • Ensure Distribution processes are documented. • Ensure proper training for Distribution employees is assigned and completed. • Ensure Distribution compliance with internal and external standards (FDA, ISO, SOX, DOT, CBP, IATA) • Coach / Counsel Employees – Manage performance and assure accountability of team members. • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special Shipping needs. • Develop and maintain metrics for Distribution performance. • Lead resolution of distribution quality and efficiency issues. • Adhere to all company policies  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
