Business Analyst / Business Analyst needed in Belgium Salary: Negotiable (Based on Experience) Contract Duration: 6 months Location: Center of Brussels (Belgium) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to be based in Brussels, Belgium on a 6 month contract with multiple extensions to follow. The position will entail to comfort corporate clients, their affiliates and their possible intermediaries by creating a single web access to their Employee Benefits & Healthcare plans. The approach is very user cantered and therefore independent from the platform on which their products are administered. Key Skills: The Business Analyst will possess the following skills: Good analytic skills Methodical Quick study Customer oriented Business analysis Experience in functional testing (from writing to execution) Experience in insurance Microsoft office tools (Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Project Methodology Mandatory knowledge of French, English and Dutch The Business Analyst will have the following Responsibilities: Define the business requirements Gain thorough insight in the different subjects at hand by desktop research and contacts with representatives from other "Methods"-departments, Business and IS. Analysis of the different subjects from a clear customer/end user perspective taking into account the characteristics, constraints and possibilities of the internal administrative platforms with which needs to be integrated (straight-through processing). Respect the generic project concepts. Design & document to be situations according to the Project Methodology (going from a conceptual blueprint to detailed user requirements). Organise & drive the validation of your business requirements by the different representatives from business & methods departments. Hand over and explain your business requirements to the development team (IS) so they can be challenged and implemented. Monitor the integrity of the requirements, also in the development phase. Quality assurance Elaborate the test scenarios for your requirements to assess the quality of the delivery of the different components. Test the application in order to validate the final delivery of the new components to our clients
