Web analytics is the measurement, collection, analysis and reporting of Internet data for purposes of understanding and optimizing web usage. Come join the marketing team that is responsible for the corporate web site. This position is responsible for leveraging analytics to measure effectiveness of lead development and lead generation content optimization strategies. S/he will partner with internal team members to design and implement measurement and reporting plans that capture appropriate performance metrics to show ROI on mcafee.com, the partner portal, designated intranet and extranet sites, and campaign activities. Responsibilities: - Create holistic B2B site, Partner Portal, and Sales & Marketing Portal dashboards and weekly/monthly/quarterly reports by pulling data from different data sources (Omniture, Eloqua, etc.) and websites for presentation to management and business stakeholders - Create dashboards for the Partner Portal and the Sales & Marketing Portal. - Create dashboards to track the effectiveness of campaigns - Analyze web data to determine correlative analysis between web behavior and campaign performance - Analyze data to support all facets of the decision making platform (clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate analysisetc) - Perform analysis that identifies core insights from available data and recommend improvements to user experience and lead development strategies - Lead proactive deep-dive analysis projects while handling a continuous stream of ad hoc reporting requests. - Work with website technology team to identify gaps in data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements. - Conduct periodic audits of content to ensure that tracking tags continue to work without breakages or errors - Document processes and best practices - Build presentation templates to share the results Required Experience/Skills & Education: - College degree and 5 years experience in data analysis and senior management level reporting. - 2-3 years direct experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst. Youll also be working with Adobe Omniture Test & Target in addition to - other analytical tools. - Well versed in the use of computers, the Internet, MS Excel, Powerpoint, and proven experience using website analytic and business intelligence analytic tools. - Past experience working in the financial or high tech industry a plus - Understands how websites work and has experience with lead development best practices - Keeps on top of best practices in metrics and decision making so dashboards and reports are tracking relevant data.
