Database Management Analyst
Primary duty includes one or more of the following: Planning, Programming, or Modeling Perform in one of the following sub-roles: Data Base Administrator - design and configure complex databases with replication and multi-nodes, develop comprehensive DB implementation / upgrade plans, translate logical to physical design, create DB objects, build back-up / recovery / load scripts, and can support development through to production; Data Administrator - create, analyze, translate, and maintain complex logical and/or physical data models, Metadata repositories, and data catalogues Specific Roles and Responsibilities: This Analyst will assist the Business Information Systems Team with day to day BAU support on Metrics and Reporting functions Be involved in projects relating to automation and streamlining of various reports and systems Maintain security event logs Ensure all productions changes are made in accordance with life cycle methodology and risk guidelines This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource The successful Database Management Analyst applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Proficiency in database and/or SQL analysis and tuning * Must be an expert in Access and Excel with the ability to modify or re-code VBA in both applications Must be able to write Web Intelligence reports in Business Objects Must be extremely fluent in database terminologies with the ability to optimize and normalize data and queries
