NOTE ***** Will be traveling an extensive amount of time from Danbury, CT (Most of June/July) to Hood River, OR (Most of Aug-Oct) and will be working long hours. Job Description Summary : The SAP Supply Chain Team Member position will support ISR Hood River’s (HR) SAP implementation in Q3, Q4 2012. This position will manage HR’s SAP implementation across the Supply Chain functional area. This position will report into the Supply Chain Lead and be a key interface between the ISR SAP team and the Hood River business. • Serve as an extension of the Hood River business team through ‘go-live’ in October 2012 o Manage Hood Rivers testing of reports, forms, interfaces, conversions and enhancements (FRICE) o Actively represent Hood River in workshops to validate business processes and solutions o Liaison between the ISR SAP Team and the Hood River business system users o Provide training and business process input to the Hood River end user team o Support the clean up all master and transactional data related to the Supply Chain functional area. • Identify and communicate project risks in a timely manner. • Support execution of the project according to schedule, budget and scope. Basic Qualifications : Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: • Prior SAP implementation experience; Proficiency with SAP’s Purchasing, Fulfillment/Shipping & Receiving capabilities. • Global Trade Services • In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain business processes, balanced with strong analytical skills • Strong business application knowledge with a strong technical proficiency • Empowerment to make decisions on functional, process or operational changes • Excellent team player, with strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to make decisions under time constraints • Balanced mix of skills – driver and doer • Experience conducting presentations and training • Ability to effectively use key Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio). Preferred: • Continuous improvement experience (i.e. lean practitioner or Six-Sigma) • Aerospace and defense industry experience
