Clinical Application Analyst
Our Healthcare Client is looking for a Contract Clinical Application Analyst to support a physician clinical system in OR, WA, CA, MT, and AK. The application has been built; is in use and stable; and the physicians are on board with this new system. This person will join a small team (1 Full Time Analyst in Spokane and 2 Part Time Application Support Analysts in Portland) to take on the day to day support of this clinical application. This will include triaging trouble tickets and working with the physicians directly to ensure they are supported in their use of this system. Examples are: troubleshooting system access issues, troubleshooting Citrix connection issues (as Dragon and Epic are implemented through Citrix); and training the physician on actually how to use the system. There will be an application upgrade schedule this year that this contractor will be involved with too. For the hospital 'go-lives', it will be important to have a flexible work schedule and be available to work over the 'go-live' weekends. Also, a rotation of on-call (24X7) will be required for this position. This is a contract position through the end of the year and can be located in either Portland, Oregon or Renton, Washington. The successful Clinical Application Analyst applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): At least 2+ years of experience in an application support role with some clinical system work history Experience interacting and working with clinical staff (and particularly physicians) over the telephone, by email, and in person Knowledge and technical proficiency with Citrix and the back-end hardware devices of an EMR System
