Our New York, New York client's ABS Conduits Technology Team is looking for an Application Developer to join their team to work on maintenance of legacy applications and re-engineering projects. Responsibilities include: writing 3-tier software using Microsoft technologies: C#, SQL, WPF and WCF; Full SDLC in a high pressure and time critical environment with and without BA support. Support for existing systems which may include SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Visual Basic, VB.NET, T-SQL, or Business Object based work. Write clear and concise documentation. Typical documentation would be application design, requirements, and specification documents. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A minimum 3 years of professional experience with process / task analysis and user interface development Strong analytical and writing skills The ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical colleagues A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business and technical environment that values positive changes Creative thinking and the ability to visualize elegant solutions to complex problems Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining attention to detail Experience with User-Centered, Human-Computer Interaction, Information and/or Interface design Project management experience Knowledge of ABCP, Securitization, managed CDOs, or Fixed Income C# and Prism
