Network Audio Input (Source & Destination) - Cocoa Mac OS X Objective-C audio
An application needs the ability to both send and receive audio over the network. The application must be able to be either the source or the destination. The source should replicate a specified audio input over the network, and must announce itself over the network. The destination must provide the ability to select a remote audio source, and map it to a virtual audio input. The destination must must create a virtual audio input from the received audio stream, and must make it available to other applications on the system. This functionality should be integrated into another pre-existing application. The preferences for the pre-existing application must be extended to include settings for enabling/disabling the source functionality, and for selecting which audio input to replicate. It will also include settings for the destination functionality, and for selecting which remote audio source will be used, and mapped to the local, virtual audio input.
