Duration: 9 Months ROLE: The Management Accountant will assist the Senior Finance Manager for Independent Travel to deliver a high standard of commercial and financial control within the business enabling the provision of quality financial information through efficient processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: a) Ensuring timely production and accurate reporting in accordance with internal and external requirements. b) Ensuring delivery of effective management information and KPI`s with sufficient explanation and within agreed timescales. c) Support ad-hoc requirements across Independent Travel. d) Assist in the development of Group requirements. e) Assist in development of Cashflow forecasting and reporting across the Independent Travel Business. f) Communicate effectively with all Independent Finance areas. g) Maintain effective relationships with Senior Finance Manager. ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: a) Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA preferable). b) Highly analytical and numerate. c) Ability to communicate at all levels. d) Must be self motivated and have a pro-active approach. e) Capable of working on own initiative, with the ability to ensure compliance with detailed requirements. f) Team player demonstrating maximum flexibility, individual must be consistent with a good standard of work, disciplined and deadline conscious.
