We are seeking someone a fast typist with good listening skills, for transcription work. This is transcription of audio files. Experience is a plus, but will train the right person. Strong attention to detail and appreciation for accuracy are the most important things. Must be a fast typist. Must have excellent English skills--vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension. Must be able to follow very specific formatting instructions. Completed transcripts should always be well punctuated and paragraphed, with correct spelling, and well researched for unfamiliar terms (basic research skills using Google are needed). Please submit your bid for one hour of audio, assuming that the audio quality is relatively clear, and no technical content, just regular everyday conversation.
