Epic ClinDoc Analyst
The reason for this position opening up is because this hospital is implementing EPIC in multiple hospitals and ambulatory centers. This is a very aggressive implementation schedule and they need the resources immediately. This position requires a strong Analyst with 3-5 years build experience in Epic ClinDoc and have existing certification(s) updates in at least 2010. Specificly this individual would have verifiable implementation experience and an overall strong knowledge of EPIC. A strong builder will be able to run with the build and be able to do it on their own and management should only have to check in for status updates. It is critical this candidate has a thorough understanding of hospital inpatient, clinic outpatient operations, along with understanding the technical environment of product lines they are responsible for. This position will manage and or participate in implementation projects as well as major installations of the product supported. Knowledge of health care operations and structure, Epic ClinDoc policies and procedures and workflows, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of information system applications in the practicing health care environment is preferred. Knowledge of systems analysis and design in a PC-Windows, client-server, or midrange environment is desired. Knowledge of current technology and how it is best utilized in designing systems and implementing applications is desired. Primary duty is to analyze business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedur es, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. The EHR Senior Systems Analyst implements and supports assigned applications from both the application-user and technical perspectives. They are considered experts in the EHR application as it functions for clinical users and will provide application and some technical support for the product line in addition to providing triage and troubleshooting assistance to the product customers and Help Desk staff. They will be responsible for the build of the application function in Epic ClinDoc because of the integration of the application and its individual functions, and will be expected to work in connection with other analysts in the ongoing build and support of the system. The position assists in critical work in system analysis, design, development, documentation, and configuration as well as testing and training of the product.
