DJ booking site needed - REPOSTING We are looking at getting a dj booking site developed with the same functionality as gigmasters.com or gigmasters.com but visually looking different and much better. some of the functionality will not be needed while some functionality will need to be enhanced. We need this person to understand not only code, but also design as their will be design that may be required, but if anything i can accommodate that. As for the most tedious part of the task, we already have the design and the theme for the most part in photoshop format. so if anything, please consider that in your pricing and adjust your pricing accordingly as this is also one of the biggest parts of developing a website and its success. We will provide the layouts for the most important parts of the site including the main page of the site, the profile look of the site and the look of how the search pages should look. Other pages can simply use the basic theme of the site and take it from there with our approval. The functionality of the site will allow DJ's to sign up and created a profile account that will have standard profile information (such as with other social networks...i.e. profile page, bio, mp3 player, and video player that they can upload their music to, while at the same time allowing djs to sign up (based on different membership levels). Members will also be able to have clients become fans. Thus allowing DJ's to gain a fan base from their site. Clients will be able to go to the site, look for a DJ by conducting a search based on various criteria (i.e. city, state, number of events booked, name, music type) and looking at the DJ's profile page and listening to samples of the DJ's music and how much they charge and being able to send an email of interest to the DJ to provide the customer with the fees that they charge. Clients will sign up so that they can save favorite djs in their limited profile for future reference and also for direct communications through the sites internal email system. Eventually when both parties agree on the terms, the client will post up a deposit for the chosen DJ upon confirmation and will be responsible for fulfilling the remaining balance days prior to the actual event. This will require e-commerce functionality. Once the event has booked and taken place, the DJ will be able to receive the funds "after" the DJ has fulfilled their portion of the agreement by DJing for the proposed event. Then the customer will be able to review and also rate the DJ. Their will be certain membership plans and certain features based on these different memberships for the DJ to chose from. Members will be able to sign up and manage their profiles and clients who are looking for djs who will be able to sign up and save certain djs, download their music tracks or future interest and bookings. And also their will have to be an admin area that will allow for total administrative functions of the site for everything. Also a sub admin area so that someone can make changes with the head administrator making the final approve just in case if the main administrator is out of town or unable to manage the site. As for timing, the timeline to get this complete is very, very important and will be extremely emphasized as their will be NO delays in making this project fully functional and we will hold you to the timeline needed to get this site complete. Our budget for this is $1,200 and one of the things that we are extremely concerned with is finding a programming team who has feedback from other high budget projects and not just a bunch of small ones. This is a big concern to us, but before we assign this project, we are coming to a conclusion and will be closing this project for bids within the next 48 hours. So if you have a good reputation and your track record is good on Scriptlance and would like to reach out to us one last time, now would be your time. But please remember..our budget for this project is $1,200 as we will need more stuff done and different add ons within the first 3-months or so. If anything, this is just a start to other exciting things as we are based in Hollywood/Los Angeles and we are very connected in the entertainment industry and have many people who will need good programmers from abroad.
