I am currently recruiting on behalf of a national company in their Shared Services Financial department for a 6 - 12 month Fixed Term Contract paying between £15,000 and £17,000 depending on experience. My client is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable clerk with experience in the following duties: Ensure timely processing of all work received into the dept, so that electronic data submissions are processed within agreed timetables and supplier set-up and amendment are actioned promptly Maintain the supplier master file database, creating new accounts and amending existing data ensuring accuracy at all times Assist other teams when required within the Accounts Payable Department Investigate facts, liaise with and advise suppliers where applicable both internal and external to resolve queries as they arise, and to deal along with the Team Leader with more complex queries Extracting and inputting information to maintain spreadsheets and controls where necessary.
