I need an application that can detect when a car parks in a parking space and will post an XML file to a server. Other functions will be counting cars, motorcycles, and people passing through defined areas of the video. The program should handle 4 video feeds, both USB camera, EasyCap 4 channel analog camera capture, or IP Camera feeds. It needs a funciton for me to define all of the parking spaces and it should be able to detect if a car is parked in the space or outside of the space, knowing that due to camera angles the car may appear to be in multiple spaces but the wheels or majority of it is in a single space. Attached is a specification and some sample spaces to go through so you can see examples of the video feeds you will get and have to be able to determine. The program should be 99% accuracte in determining when a car pulls into a space, and when a car pulls out of a space, and should be able to clearly denote if the space is occupied or vacant. Please have a demo application or something you can post to show that you know how to do some video detection, something that will run on my computer and show you detecting cars. This project will be broken into phases, first phase is properly detecting parking spaces, then counting people and cars and motorcycles, then recording the footage.
