Send your resume to Lorrainez@everestinc.com Test Engineer Six Month Contract-to-Hire is intent Bellevue, WA As a Test Engineer you will work as a partner to development during all aspects of the developement processs. You pride yourself on quality software with minimal risk and you enjoy the integration of QA/Testing best practices into your testing process. In this role you will write, review, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure proper test coverage of the software and provide estimates for test-related activities You keep good statistics on the test plan and report on progress and issues to assure they can be solved as well as working towards the highest quality documentation. Skills you have learned over time will include at least five years of Windows/Web application testing experience as well as test plan and test design expertise. You have worked with large-volume SQA data flow and have tested web services in the past (SOAP/WCF etc.) You think in line with development and also outside the box find ways to break things but all the while keeping the peace among teh group In addition to Testing Skills you have some programming skills and/or have tested applications built with Microsoft tools including C#, SQL, T-SQL and actually like to program from time-to-time. If in your past you have testing Azure SQL, worked with automation, IT Operations, Performance profiling, data analysis or performance profiling any of these will be big as you'll work with in a very high level sofware developement group utilizing all these tools as a Test Engineer.
